Tanzanian Visitors Update

Our Tanzanian visitors got home safely with their polo tops and footballs donated by THOA. They have sent us pictures to show how great they look in them. We are having a non-Uniform Day with the theme of football and this will help to raise more money for our Tanzanian friends.

School Games Silver Award 2013/14

Following a formal bid to the Youth Sport Trust. THOA have been awarded the School Games Silver Award. For such a small school this is a great achievement and recognises the hard work that the team in the PE Department have put in to curriculum PE, extra-curricular opportunities and competitive opportunities.

Geography Field Trip to Carding Mill Valley

The year 10 GCSE geographers enjoyed glorious sunshine on their fieldtrip to Carding Mill Valley, Church Stretton, last week. The pupils were collecting data for their controlled assessment, which accounts for part of their GCSE exam.
