The year 10 GCSE geographers enjoyed glorious sunshine on their fieldtrip to Carding Mill Valley, Church Stretton, last week. The pupils were collecting data for their controlled assessment, which accounts for part of their GCSE exam. Pupils measured the river’s width, depth, speed and gradient to investigate the differences from upstream to downstream. All the staff commented on how well organised the pupils were and how carefully they collected their data. I hope that all pupils had an enjoyable day.

Thank you to all the pupils who came and the staff that accompanied them.
