Comic Relief does Literacy at THOA

16th March 2015

Once again Tenbury High entered into the spirit of Comic Relief day with our usual enthusiasm but this year it was a bit further twisted! In order to support both Comic Relief and to celebrate World Book Day the two were combined. This also had the effect of continuing to raise the profile and importance of literacy around the school.

red nose group 2As you can see pupils and staff alike, joined in the fun. There were a number of other activities, such as, cake selling and a staff v pupils netball match. Since it was a non-uniform day the donations of £1 per pupil went to Comic Relief.

The day culminated in the next chapter of an Inter-House Literacy competition which followed on from a very competitive World Book Day Quiz.

By the end of school on Friday we had raised the grand sum of £387.27.

Well done to you all.
